Vote for Me!

I went into my inbox this morning to check the emails that I neglected over the weekend - let's just say it was one of "those" weekends - and I was really hoping for something that would cheer me up a bit.

I noticed I had an email from my friend Kristen of La Dolce Vita and the subject line read "Featured Reader." Featured? Moi? Love it!

Kristin contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if I would do an interview. Now the answers are posted and I'm feeling a nice boost of self-esteem. The other part of my excitement is that if I get the most comments on my post I win a free piece of jewelry made by Kristen. I blogged about the necklace that I got from her recently and now I've got my sights set on this Serenity Prayer necklace.

I'm a big "fan" I guess you could say of the Serenity prayer: God grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference." I love this prayer for a number of reasons and I say it pretty much on a daily basis.
